Caitlin and Derrick are the sweetest couple and a little bit of rain was not going to stop them from having the perfect wedding day! They were married at Our Lady of Grace Church in Edina and although it rained for most of the day we found some really great locations for photos that kept us dry. After the ceremony the rain let up and we were able to go to a park for some outdoor photos with the whole group. It was such a fun day hanging out with this beautiful group of people! Congratulations Caitlin & Derrick!!!

Congratulations to Andrea & Andy! This adorable couple had a beautiful wedding and couldn’t have picked a more perfect April day for their celebration! It was so much fun to work with these two and their lovely families. I had the pleasure of sitting down with Andrea and her mom during the planning process and it was so much fun to see how excited they were about everything. They did a spectacular job planning all of the gorgeous details. We started the day with getting ready photos at Andrea’s Aunt and Uncle’s beautiful home.

A big thanks to my amazing assistant Jody for working with me! I am SO EXCITED to have you shooting with me all summer long!!!

Cokato, MN Farm Wedding ~ Laura & Tim

Laura and Tim got married in Laura’s hometown Cokato, MN – near the farm where she grew up. They are seriously one of the sweetest couples I think I have ever met. Their love is so genuine and it was such a pleasure being with them on their wedding day. Not only are they totally in love but it was obvious that they are very much loved by their friends and family. It was so great to see how truly happy everyone was to see them get married. Congratulations Laura & Tim, wishing you many many years of happiness!!

Minneapolis / St. Paul Newborn Photography

I recently had the most AMAZING opportunity to learn from my two favorite newborn photographers, Kelley Ryden & Tracy Raver. I traveled to Omaha, NE for a 2 day class where I learned styling, posing, soothing and shooting techniques. We got to work with 4 different models and they were all so adorable!! My new skills have truly changed the whole newborn experience and I couldn’t be more excited to start this new venture in my photography career! Here are some of my favorite shots from the workshop.

Laura & Tim are the sweetest couple! I met up with them on one of the most beautiful winter days I have seen in a very long time. We all know that we have had a lack of snow this year so this specific day everything was covered in a beautiful coat of white frost. I could not believe my eyes when I looked out the window that morning and I was so excited that I had a photo shoot to get ready for! You will see what I mean when you start to scroll down. Meet Taylor and Scott, I absolutely adore this couple!! They live in California so it was so nice to finally meet them for their engagement session! Scott is a California native and Taylor moved out there for school where they met! They are so sweet to one another am sure the photos will be proof of that! Because Scott is originally from California it was so much fun to see his reaction when it started to snow at the end of the session. Enjoy the photos!!

Rush City Engagement Photography ~ Sara & Michael

This blog post is quite overdue but I am so excited to share it with you! I met up with Sara and Michael last fall for their engagement session at Michaels cabin on Rush Lake. They spend quite a bit of time there so we decided that this was the perfect location for their session because it is so special to them. We couldn’t have asked for better weather that evening and it was absolutely gorgeous with all of the fall leaves on the trees and ground. Sara and Michael are so sweet and I cannot wait for their wedding this fall!
