I shot my first wedding of the year last weekend and the weather was so beautiful. It was warm enough to be outside and the trees were covered in frost all day! This was an extra-special day because it was the wedding of my cousin Matt to his bride Mel.
The day started with all of the girls getting ready at Mel’s house. Isn’t she gorgeous!?!

Perfect choice of shoes for a February wedding!!

Next we headed over to the golf course where Matt and Mel grew up for their first look. Mel’s mom and sister helped her into her dress.

I love this picture of Matt waiting for his bride!

They decided to see each other before the ceremony and I just adore this next series of photos from their first look.

We spent some more time at the golf course for some pictures before the ceremony. Check out how beautiful the trees are in the background with all of the frost on them.

They even included their dog Coach. She is the sweetest dog!!

Mel’s mom made these fabulous mittens for all of the girls! I LOVE them!!

This is such a fun group of friends and I had a blast hanging out with the wedding party all day!

The reception was held at the Crown Room in Rogers and I just loved all of the details! The cupcakes were delicious!

At all of our family weddings there are many traditions including my three uncles dressing up as the Hanson Brothers (from the movie Slap Shot). Don’t they look good?!?! They make a point to sing “Friends in Low Places” to the bride!

Thanks Buck & Mel for a super fun day. I hope you had a great honeymoon and Happy “1st” Valentines Day as a married couple!!!
